mCommerce going to change Business Processes in India and China...

Technology and its adoption by business is changing the normal human life and creating more comfort and accessibility. When we talk about computing technology, Baking industry used to take the pioneer role creating the roadmaps for other industries. But time has changed, Telecommunication and Retail industries have to define the terms because of the business models and Baking now striving had to adopt the changes.
Success of mCommerce and potential use in future would bring in major enforcement of process changes in Banking system of developing countries. Only way to adopt large volume of mCommerce transaction is to bring in appropriate BPM systems in the whole system of service. Most of the banks in developing countries already adapted core banking systems. But the business and processes surrounding core baking still in a weaker state.

A conventional mCommerce platform would support primarily 3 major areas as I shared in my previous blog-post. While mCommerce and mobile baking would facilitate faster transactions processing and speedy communication, it would be very interesting to see how BPM industry address enabling required processes.

  1. Nice post, I agree with Author's view, But Still i see few venture has only successfully brought BPM into practice, We must have to figure out the way to introduce such practice on SME level too.

We have many e-commerce portfolio who deals with mobile banking - Could BPM help them to bring stramline process over there or it is applicable only for big ventures.

I would like to request Mr. Trideeb to provide some input over it and better if he can write some blog post on BPM in SMEs.

    Thanks.
